世界经济发展速度减缓对通常增长强劲的中国经济造成影响，中国的中央银行为了刺激经济，今天(星期一)再次降低基准利率。中国的一些贸易伙伴美国、欧洲和日本出现经济衰退，减少了为中国经济发展提供主要动力的进口需求。因此，中国人民银行3个月来第5次降息，并降低银行的储备金标准。

The slowing global economy is hurting even China’s usually strong growth, and the central bank cut the key interest rate again today (Monday) to give it a boost. Recessions in some of China’s trading partners — the United States, Europe, and Japan — are cutting demand for the exports that fuel much of China’s economy. So the People’s Bank of China made the fifth interest rate cut in just three months, and also cut the amount of money banks must keep in reserve.
The actions make more money available for lending and cut the cost of borrowing in the hope that businesses will use loans to expand operations and hire people.
