中国报告了首例据信在国内感染的甲型H1N1流感疑似病例。
中国卫生部网站上刊登的一份声明说，这名24岁的女性患者，和本周早些时候被确诊携带甲型H1N1流感病毒的一名患者有过接触。
这名女性是一名化妆师，在广东省省会广州的一家影楼工作，当那名被确诊感染了甲型H1N1流感的男性患者造访她工作的影楼时，这名女性和他有过接触。
中国卫生部表示，那名男性甲型H1N1流感患者是一名28岁的美籍华人，他在纽约一家医院工作。他于星期天飞抵广州。
与此同时，委内瑞拉卫生官员宣布该国出现首例甲型H1N1流感确诊病例。委内瑞拉卫生官员相信这名22岁的男子是在前往巴拿马的一次旅行中感染了这种疾病。
世界卫生组织表示，截至星期四有48个国家正式报告了总数超过1万3千例的甲型H1N1流感感染病例。
China has reported its first suspected case of H1N1 swine flu in a person believed to have contracted the disease within the country
A statement on the Chinese Health Ministry’s Web site says the patient, a 24-year-old woman, came into close contact with a confirmed carrier of swine flu earlier this week.
The woman works as a make-up artist at a photo studio in Guangdong’s capital, Guangzhou, and came into contact with a man infected with the disease when he visited the studio where she works.
The health ministry says the infected man was a 28-year-old Chinese-American who works at a hospital in New York. He flew to Guangzhou on Sunday.
Meanwhile, health officials in Venezuela announced its first confirmed case of the disease. Health officials believe the 22-year-old man contracted the disease during a trip to Panama.
As of Thursday, the World Health Organization says 48 countries have officially reported more than 13,000 swine flu infections.
