President Barack Obama has condemned what he called the “unjust actions” against political demonstrators in Iran.
At the White House Tuesday, Mr. Obama said the United States and the international community have been appalled and outraged by the threats and the beatings and imprisonments.
He said the U.S. is not interfering in Iranian affairs, but that the U.S. strongly condemns the violence and that Iranians have a universal right to assembly and free speech.
