南北韩双方同意在下个月重新开始为韩战造成的离散家庭安排团聚。双方星期五达成协议，同意为200个家庭安排为期六天的临时团聚。家庭团聚活动将于9月26号开始，正值中秋节前夕。
上一次家庭团结在2007年10月举行。
这是来自南北韩双方的红十字会代表团在北韩渡假地金刚山三天会谈的成果。一年多以来，南北韩之间一直充满敌意。而这次达成的协议使双边关系显示出解冻的最新迹象。
但是，韩国代表团团长金勇哲告诉记者，代表团此行并没有达成所有预期的使命。他表示，韩战战俘以及据信被北韩绑架的韩国公民问题依旧没有得到解决。
South and North Korea have agreed to resume holding reunions for families separated by the Korean War, starting next month.
The two sides agreed Friday to hold six days of temporary reunions involving 200 families, with the first one scheduled for September 26, just before Korea’s major (Chuseok) holiday.
The last time reunions took place was in October 2007.
Red Cross delegations from the two Koreas reached the agreement following three days of talks at the North’s Mount Kumgang resort.The agreement is the latest sign of easing tensions between the two sides after more than a year of hostility.
But the head of the South Korean delegation, Kim Young Chul, told reporters his negotiators did not get everything they wanted from the North. Kim said the issue of prisoners of war and citizens believed kidnapped by North Korea remains to be solved.
