世界能源需求预计将在未来25年内增加三分之一以上,中国迅速扩大的经济规模将占猛增需求的很大部分。
在每年一度的“世界能源展望”中,国际能源署星期二预测说,世界能源需求将在2035年前增加36%。它说,中国的能源需求同期将增加75%,占世界新增需求的三分之一以上。
国际能源署总干事田中伸男说,在世界能源供给的使用方面,“无论怎样强调中国日益增长的重要性都不过份”。
报告称,矿物燃料,特别是来自中东地区主要石油出口国家的矿物燃料,将继续成为世界的主要能源来源。该机构预测说,原油价格将在2035年底前从现在的每桶86美元增加到每桶113美元。
The world demand for energy is expected to grow by more than a third over the next quarter century, with China’s rapidly expanding economy accounting for a significant portion of the surge.
In its annual World Energy Outlook, the International Energy Agency predicted Tuesday that the world’s energy demands will increase 36 percent by 2035. It said that China’s energy needs would increase by 75 percent in that period, accounting for more than a third of the world’s increased demand.
The agency’s executive director, Nobuo Tanaka, said that it was “hard to overstate the growing importance of China” in the use of the world’s energy supply.
The report said that fossil fuels — especially from the major oil-exporting nations in the Mideast — will remain as the world’s main energy source. The agency predicted that the price of oil would increase from about $86 a barrel today to $113 by 2035.
