Beijing says a Chinese contractor has won a bid to construct two rail lines in Libya.The official Xinhua news agency said Monday that the China Railway Construction Corporation will build a 352-kilometer coastal railway along Libya’s east to west Mediterranean coast, and an 800-kilometer line linking the cities of Sebha and Misurata.
The agency said the contract is worth about two-point-six billion dollars. The work is expected to be completed in four years.
