中国和俄罗斯同意结束围绕勘定两国4千3百公里边界的长期争端。中国外交部长杨洁篪和俄罗斯外交部长拉夫罗夫今天(星期一)在北京签署了协议。
拉夫罗夫称这项协议是妥协的结果，将有助于两国在成为他所称的“友好邻邦”过程中，为两国带来共同利益。
官方的中国日报报导说，俄罗斯将把银龙岛以及黑瞎子岛的一半归还中国。这片174平方公里的土地位于中国东北部边境，在黑龙江附近。俄罗斯称黑龙江为“阿穆尔河”。
China and Russia have agreed to end a long-running dispute over demarcating their 43-hundred kilometer border. The foreign ministers of the two countries, Yang Jiechi and Sergei Lavrov, signed the agreement today (Monday) in Beijing.
Lavrov called the agreement a result of compromises that will bring the two countries mutual benefit in building what he called a “friendly neighborhood.”
The state-run China Daily newspaper reported that Russia will return Yinlong Island (known as Tarabarov Island in Russian) as well as half of Heixiazi Island (Bolshoi Ussuriysky in Russian) to China. The 174 square kilometers of territory are on China’s northeastern border near the Heilongjiang or Amur River.
