北韩以大规模预备役军人阅兵式庆祝建国60周年，但是国家最高领导人金正日看来没有出席庆典。媒体援引目击者和电视画面报导，金正日没有出席庆祝活动。外界最初预计庆祝活动将以穿越平壤全市的大型阅兵式为主，但是目击者说，后来只有少量武器展示。金正日显然没能出席阅兵式正值有关金正日可能患病的猜测在增加之际。
美国一名情报官员告诉美联社说，金正日可能患了中风，但是这种说法目前还没有得到证实。韩国的朝鲜日报今天(星期二)报导说，金正日8月22号病倒。这家报纸援引一位没有透露姓名的驻北京大使馆韩国外交官的话说，他从中国的一个消息来源得到上述消息。
North Korea has marked the 60th anniversary of its founding with a massive parade of its reserve military forces, but the country’s supreme leader Kim Jung Il apparently did not attend. News reports citing witnesses and television footage say Kim was not there for the festivities. The anniversary originally was expected to feature a massive military parade through Pyongyang. However, eyewitness reports say only a few weapons were put on display.
A U.S. intelligence official tells the Associated Press that Kim may have suffered a stroke. There is no confirmation of that. South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo newspaper reported today (Tuesday) that Kim collapsed August 22nd. The report cited an unnamed South Korean diplomat in Beijing who said he got the information from a Chinese source.
