伊朗官方电视台说，报导所说的在伊朗境内被迫降落的一架飞机并不像另一家新闻机构所说的是美国的军用飞机。旗帜电视台星期二援引伊朗一名军事官员的话说，那架迫降飞机是一架来自西方国家的民用飞机，但是机上有美国军事人员。
星期二早些时候，伊朗半官方的法尔斯新闻社说，伊朗战斗机迫使一架误入伊朗领空的美国飞机降落。法尔斯新闻社还说，这架飞机上载有飞往阿富汗的5名美国军事官员和3位平民。
这两个报导都说，飞机上的乘客都被准许继续他们的行程。不过这两个报导都没有说这个事件什么时候发生的。
美国军方官员们说，他们不知道有美国任何战机被迫降在伊朗境内。美国五角大楼说，他们所有飞机都得到清点，没有接到报告有任何飞机在伊朗降落。
Iranian state television says a plane reported to have been forced to land in Iran was not a U.S. military aircraft, as another agency reported. Al-Alam television today (Tuesday) quoted a military official saying the aircraft was a civilian plane from a Western country, but American military personnel were on board.
Earlier in the day, Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency said that Iranian fighter planes forced a U.S. plane to land when it strayed into Iranian airspace. The agency said the plane was carrying five U.S. military officials and three civilians on a trip to Afghanistan.
Both reports said those aboard were allowed to continue on their way. Neither said when the incident happened.
U.S. military officials say they are not aware of any U.S. warplane being forced to land in Iran. The Pentagon said all its planes were accounted for and it had received no reports of any plane landing in Iran.
