中国西南的云南省有3人在注射用于治疗心脏病的中药注射剂后死亡。官方的新华社说，国家食品药品管理局在云南省一家医院6人因接受这种药剂的注射患病之后，暂停了这种中药药剂的使用和销售。
新华社说，这6人在接受这种药剂注射后出现呕吐和其它不良症状。这种注射剂含有一种从西伯利亚人参中提取出的物质。这6人中有3人星期一死亡。
政府已经派检查人员前往生产这一药物的公司黑龙江完达山制药厂。
西伯利亚人参曾经用来治疗冠心病和血栓。
Three people have died in southwestern China after receiving an herbal injection that is used to treat heart disease. The official news agency Xinhua says the State Food and Drug Administration suspended the use and distribution of the injectable herbal remedy after it sickened six people in a Yunnan province hospital.
It said the six vomited and suffered other adverse reactions after being injected with the remedy, which contains an extract from a type of Siberian ginseng. Three of them died on Monday.
The government has dispatched inspectors to the company that produced the drug, Wandashan Pharmaceutical in Heilongjiang province.
Siberian ginseng has been used to treat coronary heart disease and blood clots.
