阿富汗当局说，一名自杀爆炸杀手在阿富汗南部炸死21名警察。
乌鲁兹甘省警察局长说，炸弹杀手今天(星期一)身穿警察制服进入省首府一个警察培训中心，随后在警察中间引爆自杀。
另外还有至少8名警察受伤。
塔利班已经宣称对发生在阿富汗南部的这起袭击事件负责。袭击事件发生的阿富汗南部是塔利班叛乱活动的中心。
与此同时，阿富汗国防部发表声明说，安全部队在乌鲁兹甘省逮捕了3名被怀疑是自杀爆炸手的人。声明说，当局发现嫌疑人身穿的外套中藏有爆炸物。
美国计划今年增派多达3万部队进驻阿富汗，加紧打击塔利班。
Afghan authorities say a suicide bomber has killed 21 police officers in southern Afghanistan.
The police chief of Uruzgan province says the bomber entered a police training center in the provincial capital (Tirin Kot) today (Monday) dressed in a police uniform. He then blew himself up among the officers.
At least eight police officers were wounded in addition to those killed.
Taliban insurgents have claimed responsibility for the attack in southern Afghanistan, which is the center of their insurgency.
Meanwhile, the Afghan Defense Ministry released a statement saying security forces arrested three suspected suicide bombers in Uruzgan province. The statement says authorities found jackets outfitted with explosives on the suspects.
The United States plans to intensify its fight against the Taliban this year by sending as many as 30-thousand more troops to Afghanistan.
