韩国通讯社报导说，北韩在星期一进行核试验而受到国际社会越来越强烈的谴责之际又试射了两枚短程导弹。

星期一晚间，由15个成员国组成的安理会举行紧急会议，一致谴责北韩的核试验。安理会说，正在准备对平壤做出强烈反应，但不清楚联合国准备做出反应的强烈程度。
莫斯科的文传通讯社援引俄罗斯外交部消息人士的话说，通过强硬的决议很可能无法避免，因为此事关系到安理会的权威。
共产党国家北韩的邻国和传统盟友中国也表示坚决反对北韩进行核试验。但北京同时呼吁所有有关方面以冷静和适当的方式做出反应。
俄罗斯和中国是拥有否决权的安理会常任理事国，以前一直阻止对北韩采取更强硬的制裁。
A South Korean news agency is reporting that North Korea has test-fired two more short-range missiles, even as international condemnation of its Monday test of a nuclear bomb grows.
The Tuesday report by South Korea’s Yonhap news agency cites unnamed government sources who say the missiles were fired from an east coast launch pad.
North Korea test-fired three missiles Monday shortly after setting off an underground nuclear device.
Late Monday, an emergency session of the 15-member United Nations Security Council (including the United States, Russia and China) unanimously condemned the nuclear test. The Security Council says it is preparing a strong response to Pyongyang, but it was not clear just how far the U.N. is prepared to go.
The Interfax news agency in Moscow quoted a Russian Foreign Ministry source as saying the adoption of tough resolutions is probably unavoidable, because the authority of the Security Council is at stake.
China, a neighbor and traditional ally of the communist North Korean state, has said it, too, is resolutely opposed to the test. But Beijing is also calling on all “relevant parties” to respond in a “coolheaded and appropriate” way.
Russia and China are two of the five permanent veto-holding members of the Security Council, and have previously blocked stronger sanctions against Pyongyang.
